2nd March 2009Bobby Jindal: OMGI found this pretty funny. Bobby Jindal is the Governor of Louisiana. He's a Republican - so clearly an idiot - and he's also partial to the occasional exorcism. Except for Mrs Palin, I don't know a bigger fool in American politics. ((I'm sure that will change.))

1st March 2009SantorumSantorum's so funny. I love it. OK - I don't love it, but its story is fantastic. If you don't know what Santorum is, consult Urban Dictionary or Wikipedia. See? In and of itself it's really quite funny, but there's more to it than that... it's named after a politician! I love that idea - a politician does or says something stupid, and for punishment their name becomes the new word for something rather... unappetising. It fits perfectly as well: Rick Santorum is clearly a raging homophobic, so what better connotations for his name? I think we should start doing the same for ...

22nd February 2009Take Back NYUThis is a fucking disgrace. At New York University, a bunch of spoilt naive twats have staged a 2-day long protest against the way that their university is run. Read all about it. It wasn't a peaceful protest though, they "stormed" the building, causing damage and injury. It really is pathetic. 30th January 2009Zeitgeist, The MovieI watched Zeitgeist, The Movie the other day. Unusually for me, I had absolutely no idea what it was going to be about. That said, I quite enjoyed the suprise, though I'm not sure I can same the same about the content. The film is broadly split into 3 parts: "The Greatest Story Ever Told" - criticising and debunking religion, particularly Christianity. "All the World's a Stage" - 9/11 conspiracy theories. "Don't Mind the Men Behind the Curtain" - proposing that America has only gone to war for profit. 21st January 2009The PoliceWhat the fuck are you doing? A Conservative MP has alleged that police entered his Commons office without a search warrant demanding to see constituency correspondence. Mr Kawczynski added: "I received a note from my office that there was a police officer in my office demanding to see correspondence. "They were already present in my office and I went down to see them after making my speech."
