2nd September 2008MegastructuresRight now I am watching an episode of National Gepgraphic's 'Megastructures'. Today's episode is on the World Financial Centre in Shanghai, China, and whilst interesting it doesn't really do it for me. The main reason is because... well, because it's a building. There's only so much that you can say about it, and in 45 minutes, you're really stretching to find information. To try and solve this, the producers try to create suspense into the program, making it seem as if the build will be late, or made incorrectly... or even that it will be unsuccessful and come tumbling down.
