ASO, A Small Orange, is my hosting company. They mostly run shared servers, of which they have a lot. Naturally, they give each one a name – mine is called Walt.
Earlier on, my website wouldn’t load and I went to the server status to see what the deal was. My server was down (as it quite often the case) – however, I noticed something else: I saw a server named Thrace. Now, I’ve only ever heard the name Thrace once before – on BSG. I brushed it off, and then moved to the top of the page. Then what did I see? Adama. Apollo. Boomer.
It seems ASO are quite the fans of BSG.
UPDATE: They’re also big on those LOST names, too.
I’ve just finished watching Heroes S03E19 – Shades of Gray, and it is completely different. Bryan Fuller was one of the main writers and producers for the first season, but he left afterwards for Pushing Daisies. That got cancelled, and he returned. This is his first episode back, and the change is astonishing. I can’t wait for the rest ((It took me several attempts to spell “rest” correctly, for some reason I wanted to spell it “reast”.)) of the season.
I'm a mathematician, but apart from that, I'm a fairly normal guy. I used to write a blog - this blog. I write (wrote) about whatever is on my mind. It can get quite personal sometimes.
