31st March 2010Scottish Money: Follow-upAfter writing my previous post, called "Legal Tender", I got a reply from a slightly upset George ((It started with the line "WILFRED WILSON, you have misquoted me massively!")). I confess, my memory was faultly, and I prepended an explanatory paragraph to the post to make George's arguments clear. 31st March 2010Legal TenderUPDATE: George informed me that I "have misquoted me massively", and on further remembrance, I think he's right. George was not arguing that Scottish bank notes were legal tender, although he does maintain that the rejection of Scottish notes in England is (unfair) discrimination. However, I'm going to leave this article as it is, because its purpose isn't to point and laugh at George, instead it is an explanation of the term 'legal tender'. 6th March 2010BugsBugs are usually annoying, but sometimes they can make me laugh. Take this image for example. I must have right-clicked just as Mozilla Firefox loaded and became visible, although I had intended to click on whatever window had been there previously. The context menu that came up was fucking crazy. Why? Well, maybe because the program lacked the context to know which list items to show.
