27th July 2010Selling Oranges or LemonsHello Internet. I'm back. This is the first time in 4 months that I've been home without having something gobbling up most of my time and attention. It started in late March when Will and his girlfriend visited, and then my nephew ((Back then he was about 12 weeks old.)) and his parents came up to Perth too ((My eldest sister and brother-in-law, a great couple.)). 21st February 2010Don’t get me started…I wrote this when I was 15 ((My Word document of this essay was created in September 2006, although I would have written it by hand initially, some time before.)), for 4th year English. After reading a couple of newspaper columns as a class, we were told to write our own such essay under the title "Don't get me started...", about things which annoy us. Mine turned out quite well. 7th February 2010Thinking, Ideas & CreationThis is the first of my past writings which I have retrieved, dusted off, and posted to this blog. I sat down and wrote this article intending that it would go in the school newspaper, a paper which never actually ended up existing ((Perhaps more at a later date.)). 4th February 2010Past WritingsI subscribe to the RSS feed of Murray's blog. It can be interesting - you should check it out. His most recent post is called "How can you know where you’re going, if you ignore where you’ve been?". It's about his journey as an improving writer, and how you need a reference point (your past work) so that you can see if you're improving (by comparing it to your current work).
